The Short Version

BatBlueprint gives you free tools and guides to help figure out bat sizing and legality. We’re not your league, we’re not a lawyer, and we’re not a replacement for checking with your coach or league director. Use what’s here as a solid starting point, not the final word.

The Tools Are Estimates, Not Guarantees

The bat size calculator and the bat legality checker on this site are built using standard youth baseball sizing guidelines and publicly available league rules. They’re designed to give you a strong, practical starting point.

They are not official rulings. Leagues, tournament directors, and umpires make the final call on what’s legal and what fits, not this website. Rules can vary by league, can change mid-season, and can be interpreted differently by different organizations. Always confirm with your coach or league director before buying a bat or showing up to a game with one.

Content Accuracy

We do our best to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, including rule changes like the transition to BBCOR at the high school level and other certification updates. Baseball equipment rules do change over time. If something on this site is out of date or wrong, we want to know, reach out and we’ll fix it.

Nothing on this site is a substitute for checking current rules directly with your league, USA Baseball, USSSA, or the NFHS.

Affiliate Links

Some links on this site may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase through them, at no extra cost to you. We only link to products we’d genuinely recommend based on the sizing and certification guidance already on this site. Any affiliate links are marked appropriately and don’t affect what we tell you about sizing or legality.

No Accounts, No Purchases Here

This site doesn’t require an account, doesn’t process payments, and doesn’t store personal information beyond what’s needed for basic site analytics. If you click through to a retailer’s site, their own terms and privacy policy apply from that point forward, not ours.

Limitation of Liability

BatBlueprint provides this site and its tools on an as-is basis. We’re not responsible for a bat being rejected at a game, a purchase you’re not happy with, or any other outcome from using the information or tools here. Use your own judgment, and when in doubt, ask your league before you buy or play.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time as the site grows. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
